Company Found and President Helen Vella spent over 20 years in the Corporate World in the UK and Australia, 15 of those years in the Bank of Scotland working her way to Senior Director of Collections for the UK. She was one of the first women to implement a new collections strategy for Corporate Bad Debt. Helen Vella is on the Board of Child Rescue Network and was presented with the Jefferson Award for Volunteer Services. Helping to stop the abuse of children by educating parents and guardians is a step to stopping the cycle of abuse. This is something very dear to Helen's heart. Helen also won the State of Florida award for Public Speaking by Business & Professional Women. She was nominated at the Women of Distinction Awards 2009. She has just published her first book where she bears her soul and gives you an insight into her childhood. Exactly what abuse she went through and then her determination to overcome and fight back. She goes onto explain how she does this every day of her life and then in the book teaches you how YOU can overcome and empower yourself regardless of your situation or upbringing. With her focus on the well-being of others, she has brought her gifts to the United States to bring help, hope, and healing to children and adults with behavioral and emotional challenges. She is fully qualified in many aspects to gain true Health and Wellness in mind, body, and spirit. She was awarded the Jefferson Award for Community Service for Volunteering, by Child Rescue Network. She won the BPW Speak Off Award for representing the State of Florida. She has published a multitude of articles on Networking, Emotional Freedom, The Power of Positive Thinking and Stress and Anxiety, in the workplace, to name but a few. She also has published Networking Handbooks and her first book was published in June 2008 'You are more than you think you are". |
