From the time I was a little girl, I would always look for pretty women who I thought was powerful and influential. I looked
for women who earned respect and commanded their presence. I first found that in my mother and grandmother; was
fascinated with Marilyn Monroe, Jackie O', Elizabeth Taylor, and Dorothy Dandridge, then I met the acquaintance of an
inspiring black woman, Dorothy Height, followed by the elegant Nancy Reagan, and that's when I knew what an influential
powerful woman looked liked.

And for the next 30 years, I studied the habits and lifestyles of first ladies and learned that in order to be empowered you
have to give from the heart graciously.

Join me in remembering my mentors, Dorothy Height and Chin-Ning Chu, women who took the time to breathe life into my
dreams. Read the profiles of Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush, and Michelle Obama, be inspired by
their ease and grace.

2010 is the Year of Double Blessings, Double Grace… This is the Year of the Woman. Go With Your Passion! It's about the
Culture of the Woman.
