In 1993, she was elected to the
U.S. Senate in a special election,
making her the first and only
woman elected to represent Texas
in the Senate.
Megan was born in Kendall but moved to
Jupiter, Florida when she was young. At the
age of 5, she began taking dance and tumbling
classes which sparked her passion for the arts.

Upon her graduation from Jupiter High School,
Megan auditioned for Tokyo Disneyland's only
dance show, "Once Upon A Mouse". Before she
knew it, she was halfway around the world
performing under a seven month contract.

In the fall of 2003, Megan returned to the
states with a greater desire to dance. While
attending the University of Central Florida,
Megan was a Team Leader on the Orlando
Magic Dance Team as well as a Dunking
Dancer for the Orlando Magic.

She has traveled the world entertaining our troops on Armed Force Entertainment
(AFE) tours and was the Orlando Magic Representative for the first and only All Star
Dance Team at the 2007 All Star Game in Las Vegas.

Megan graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelors of Science
in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Leadership and completed her
5th season with the Orlando Magic in 2009. Megan can be seen hosting the nationally
distributed show Muscle Car Workout on PBS and at the Orlando Magic home games
as the weekday co-emcee. Megan is currently representing the state of Florida as
Miss Florida USA 2010.
She is traveling up and down the state making
appearances for various charities including, Susan
G. Komen and Give Kids the World. During her year
of service, Megan will be working with a variety of
non-profit and community organizations with the
desire to make a difference in people's lives and
futures.

Megan is currently working on two very different
projects: An engineering scholarship for young
females competing in the Florida Science and
Engineering Regional Fairs and Climb for the Cure,
climbing Florida Lighthouses to raise money for
Susan G Komen. Megan will compete for the title
of Miss USA televised Live this April on NBC.
